一．2009年5月對外商品貿易統計

政府統計處資料顯示，繼2009年4月份錄得18.2%的按年跌幅後，2009年5月份本港商品整體出口貨值為港幣2,044億元，較2008年同月跌14.5%。其中5月份轉口貨值為港幣1,993億元，按年下跌13.7%。同時，繼2009年4月份錄得17%的按年跌幅後，2009年5月份商品進口貨值為港幣2,154億元，較上一年同月下跌19.2%。

External merchandise trade statistics for May 2009

According to the Census and Statistics Department, the value of Hong Kong's total exports of goods in May 2009 decreased by 14.5% over a year earlier to $204.4 billion, after a y-o-y decrease of 18.2% in April. Within this total, the value of re-exports decreased by 13.7% y-o-y to $199.3 billion in May 2009. The value of imports of goods also decreased during the period, dropping by 19.2% from a year earlier to $215.4 billion, after a y-o-y decrease of 17% in April 2009.

二．2009年5月份消費物價指數

政府統計處資料顯示，2009年5月份整體消費物價與一年前同月比較維持不變。剔除所有政府一次性紓困措施的影響，基本通脹率的按年升幅為1.3%，較四月份(1.9%)為低, 主要是由於私人房屋租金及旅遊費用下調。

Consumer price indices for May 2009

The Census and Statistics Department reported that the Composite CPI (Consumer Price Index) remained unchanged in May 2009 compared with May 2008. Netting out the effects of the government's one-off relief measures, the Composite CPI in May 2009 rose 1.3% y-o-y, smaller than that in April (1.9%), mainly due to the decreases in private housing rentals and charges for package tours.

三．2009年5月份屋宇署統計數字

據屋宇署資料顯示，該署於2009年5月份共批出27份建築圖則，包括15項住宅及商住發展、7項商業發展、以及1項工廠及工業發展。獲准動工的建築工程項目有12個，這些工程完成後將提供可作住宅用途的建築樓面面積共84,963平方米(91.5萬平方呎)，涉及單位840個；非住宅用途的建築樓面面積達36,406平方米(39.2萬平方呎)。屋宇署同時發出9份入伙紙。其中住宅用途的建築樓面面積約有42,176平方米 (45.4萬平方呎)，共600個單位，較2009年4月份的160個單位為多；非住宅用途的建築樓面面積則約為1,598平方米 (17,200平方呎)。

Buildings Department statistics for May 2009

According to the Buildings Department, 27 building plans were approved in May. Of these, 15 were for apartment and apartment/commercial developments, seven were for commercial developments and one was for factory and industrial development. Consent was also given for work to start on 12 building projects that, when completed, will provide around 84,963 sm (915,000 sf) of GFA for residential use, involving 840 units, and 36,406 sm (392,000 sf) of GFA for non-residential use. In addition, the Buildings Department issued nine occupation permits. Of the buildings certified for occupation, the GFA for residential use amounted to about 42,176 sm (454,000 sf), involving 600 units, significantly more than the 160 units in April 2009, as well as 1,598 sm (17,200 sf) for non-residential use.

四．2009年5月住宅按揭數據

根據香港金融管理局資料顯示，2009年5月份新取用按揭貸款額較4月份增加42.5%，至港幣152億元，是連續第四個月錄得升幅。新批出的貸款按月增加28.4%，至港幣281億元，這主要是受到二手市場交易批出貸款增加港幣36億元(按月增加22.6%), 以及一手市場交易批出貸款增加港幣21億(按月增加48.1%)所帶動。

Residential mortgage statistics for May 2009

According to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, the value of new mortgage loans drawn down during May 2009 increased for the fourth consecutive month, rising 42.5% m-o-m to HK$15.2 billion. The amount of new loans approved grew 28.4% m-o-m to HK$28.1 billion, largely driven by the 22.6% m-o-m increase, or HK$3.6 billion, in approvals for secondary market transactions, as well as the 48.1% m-o-m increase, or HK$2.1 billion, in approvals for primary market transactions.

五．市建局與信和及合和發展灣仔利東街/麥加力歌街重建項目

市建局宣布與信和置業及合和實業組成的宏置發展有限公司，合作發展位於灣仔利東街/麥加力歌街的重建項目。該項目地盤面積約88,500平方呎。完成後可提供總建築面積約835,000平方呎的樓面，作為住宅和商業用途。

Sino Land and Hopewell win Lee Tung Street/McGregor Street redevelopment project

Urban Renewal Authority announced that Grand Site Development Limited, consisting of two consortium members, Sino Land and Hopewell, has won the joint development contract for the Lee Tung Street/McGregor Street project in Wan Chai. The project covers a site area of about 88,500 sf and upon completion, is expected to deliver a maximum GFA of about 835,000 sf for residential and commercial uses.
