一．2009年7月份零售業銷貨額統計數字

根據政府統計處公佈資料顯示，2009年7月的零售業總銷貨價值估計為港幣228億元，較上年同月下跌5.5%, 零售業總銷貨數量較上年同月下跌5.4%。該月汽車及汽車零件的銷貨數量跌幅最大，按年下跌30.7%。另一方面，該月燃料的銷貨數量則按年上升4.9%。

According to the Census and Statistics Department, total retail sales in July 2009 were estimated at HK$22.8 billion, representing y-o-y decreases of 5.5% in value and 5.4% in volume. The volume of sales of motor vehicles and parts dropped the most, down 30.7% y-o-y in July. On the other hand, the volume of sales of fuels increased by 4.9% y-o-y in July.



二．2009年7月訪港旅客數據

香港旅遊發展局公布，今年7月份訪港旅客按年減少12.2％，至2,378,298人次, 主要是由於期間來自內地的旅客按年減少了13.7%至1,432,740人次 — 因為去年7月，不少內地旅客均選擇提早在奧運舉行之前來港旅遊，令去年7月內地旅客數字的基數顯著增加。
